The Hotel Harrington is a activist friendly hotel and is located in the heart of Washington, D.C.’s world famous tourist district. Just ½ block from Pennsylvania Avenue, between the Capitol and the White House. There are economical and compact rooms with either one queen bed or two twin size beds ideally suited for the traveler(s) on a tight budget. Our larger, traditionally sized rooms all have one queen bed, while our even larger rooms come with either two double size beds or two queen size beds.

“The Pilgrimage” at the Church of the Pilgrims operates like a hostel.  The Pilgrimage provides accommodations in three large rooms.  There is a large shower room for men and women.

The William Penn House is a Quaker center on Capitol Hill that engages people from all walks of life with issues of peace, reconciliation, social and economic justice, and environmental awareness.  The house provides accommodations in shared rooms (the bedrooms have 4 to 10 beds each). Accommodations include bed linens, towels, and a simple breakfast each morning.

St. Stephen’s Church offers floor space and guests are encouraged to bring their own sleeping pads and sleeping bags.  There is not a shower facility at the church. ** Please note: Some evenings you will not be able to enter the building until as late as 9pm; some mornings you will have to out before 7am.

Transportation:
DC is accessible from three major airports: Reagan National (DCA), Dulles (IAD), and Baltimore.
On the East Coast you can travel to DC on very inexpensive buses including Bolt Bus and MegaBus.
